Practical approaches to assess the impact of a change, reduce the overall testing effort and manage the risk of the change.

Many organizations are looking for ways to boost testing productivity in agile development. The unfortunate truth is that testing a major bottleneck for Continuous Delivery, with too many defects being identified at the end of the release cycle.

To yield the best results, you need to be able to focus testing efforts on the impact of the changes you're making, and unlock agile to accelerate delivery to market.

But with quick changes comes great responsibility. When it comes to assessing the risk of a code base, it’s not a single bullet magic number, and it’s not a simple “go/no-go” traffic light. The risk of change is multi-dimensional and multi-variant, and it’s measured differently for different organizations.

In this TCQAA presentation Parasoft's Andrey Madan will cover some practical approaches organizations can take to both reduce testing effort and manage the risk of change.
