Synopsis:  

  • This session will cover recent trends and challenges in testing the Internet of Things (IoT).  We will also discuss the components that go into a proper test strategy, such as building a test lab, test coverage, test data, test management, tools, and automation.  Lastly, Costa will walk participants through the top 5 IoT testing challenges, followed by solutions to address each.

About our Presenter:  Costa Avradopoulos, QA Practice Leader at Improving, Atlanta, GA

Costa is a recognized thought leader with over 28 years experience in mobile, Cloud, and IoT technologies.  He has managed all aspects of software development and taken on roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Developer, Release Manager, Automation Engineer, QA Director, Product Manager, VP, and CTO.

A visionary innovator, he has devoted much of his career to emerging and disruptive technologies, culminating with a breakthrough invention, a patented mobile technology in 2011 that was also nominated for the top innovation award at the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).  Costa also trademarked the Mobilyze methodology, and has been a featured speaker or panelist at over 70 events in the last 10 years.

Costa is a trusted advisor - transforming organizations by creating winning test strategies to develop best of breed applications on all of the popular technology platforms. He is also very active in the IT community with organizations such as QAI, SPIN, SQE, AIF (WTF), TAG, AMMO, GAIT, TechBridge, and serves on the board of AQAA as its current President. Costa also serves on the board for the Atlanta Industry Advisory for Technology.  Costa holds industry certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt and TPI.
