How to find and order a TCQAA book at Minneapolis Public Library

Search the Catalog:

1. go to http://mplwebcat.mpls.lib.mn.us/

2. If you are not an MPL patron, click on Interlibrary Loan on the left hand side of the catalog page it will send you to the MNLink search page

3. Search the Catalog (web version) if not an MPL patron, use the advanced search in MNLink and narrow your search to Minneapolis Public Library

4. Search it by title if you are using the title list or by subject (use search terms below)

5. Choose your subject (if needed)

6. Choose limit/sort results if you would like to sort by date, check sort by date box, in MNLink you can choose “Sort Options” to sort by date

7. Choose your title

8. If MPL patron, select green “request item” button, if in MNLink, click on “Get It”

9. Choose pickup location

10. Item will be retrieved and sent to your location

11. If you have trouble searching the MNLink gateway, please use the Minneapolis Catalog to find the books and then request them through the MNLink gateway. It is easiest to cut and paste the ISBN from the catalog to the MNLink advanced search page
