ABOUT THE PRESENTATION  AND SPEAKERS:

 Abstract:

Data driven, table driven, or keyword driven test automation.  You may have
seen or heard these terms and others many times when reading about test
automation or attending presentations on the topic.  Here's a chance to
here someone talk about them again, but this time sharing a success story.
It can be done!    This presentation will share some lessons learned and
our approach surrounding the practice of selecting applications for
automation and designing, developing and implementing data-driven automated
test solutions.

Bios:

Tom Hels
Twenty plus years in Information Technology.  Tom's experience covers all
aspects of software development and support, including: application
support, software design and development, and software testing.  Tom is
currently responsible for a team of programmers and test analysts that are
dedicated to Software Test Automation and Test Tools.  This team is
responsible for implementing tools and automation solutions to support the
Prudential Financial "Software Test Centers of Excellence" in Ireland,
Canada and the U.S.

Jim Cook
Fifteen plus years in Information Technology.  Jim's experience covers all
aspects of software development and support, including: application
support, software design and development, and software testing.  Jim is
currently a member of a team of programmers and test analysts at Prudential
Financial that are dedicated to Software Test Automation and Test Tools
implementation.

Leo Zdrill
Thirteen plus years in Information Technology.  Leo has a very diverse
background focused on developing test automation solutions with a variety
of tools on numerous platforms.  Leo is currently a member of a team of
programmers and test analysts that are dedicated to Software Test
Automation and Test Tools at Prudential Financial.
