About the Presentation:

In this second part of the two-part series, Dr. Hanna will explore more advanced issues in testing object-oriented systems. In particular, how the object-oriented technology impacts the testing lifecycle. Dr. Hanna will discuss new techniques and methods for testing object-oriented systems. This includes It is assumed that attendees are familiar with the object-oriented concepts and terminology. This presentation will help testing professionals understand new responsibilities and roles in the testing lifecycle.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Hanna is a recognized educator, speaker and consultant in several related areas of software engineering. He is a frequent speaker in many national and international conferences. Dr. Hanna brings over twenty four years of experience with building and maintaining software systems. Dr. Hanna is the Conference Chair for the International Conference on Practical Software Quality techniques and the Chairman and CEO of the Software Testing Institute. As a consultant, he helped many organizations define and improve their software processes using disciplined software engineering approaches. As an associate professor at the University of St. Thomas, he teaches graduate courses on several software engineering topics with emphasis on practical software quality techniques. His distinguished seminars on various topics have been highly rated by software professionals. Dr. Hanna worked extensively with the ANSI Object-Oriented Task Group where he performed a survey of object-oriented database management systems and participated in He developed new approaches and methods in software development including the Software Quality Engineering Methodology (SQEngineer), the Unified Data Model (UDM), and the Data-Driven Object Model (DOM). Dr. Hanna holds a Ph.D. and a Master degree in Computer and Information Sciences form the University of Minnesota and a Master degree in Operations Research from Cairo University.
