CQA certification is formal recognition of a level of proficiency in the IS quality assurance industry. CQAs receive recognition of their competence by business and professional associates, potentially more rapid career advancement and greater acceptance in the role of advisor to management.
This course will cover the 16 topic areas included in the Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) for the IS Quality Assurance Profession, upon which the CQA exam is based.

Steve Devinney is the Quality Assurance Institutes (QAI) managing director. Steve is certified as a quality analyst (CQA) and as a software test engineer (CSTE). He has over 27 years of experience in various capacities in the IT industry. Steve will be teaching the only CQA preparatory course that is approved by QAI. QAI initiated the CQA certification program in 1985 and has since awarded over 1600 CQA certifications nationally and internationally.

Note: The CQA exam will be offered in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area on Friday, November 6, 1998.
Registration Forms must be received by TCQAA no later than May 1st. Class size is limited and priority will be given first to CQA exam applicants, then to TCQAA members. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmations will be mailed May 4th.
