About the Presentation:

There are many times in a tester’s career where they are asked to do the impossible. Maybe you have been given completely unrealistic deadlines, or perhaps you have been pushed to use a tool you know nothing about, or maybe you have been given a product to test for which no one has bothered to document requirements or design. Sound familiar?! Exploratory testing cannot solve all problems but it can at least be your survival tool if you’re plagued with the last scenario described above. Come and hear how this approach was used on a real-life project and the lessons learned along the way.

Presentation Outline:

Exploratory Testing as a Disciplined Software Testing Approach
• Overview of the Project Where Exploratory Testing Was Used
• One Process for Exploratory Testing
• Lessons Learned From Our Use of Exploratory Testing
