ABOUT THE SPEAKERS AND PRESENTATION:

Abstract:

Software Release Management (SRM) deals with the methods and practices of releasing software products in a controlled and optimized manner.  SRM deals with the areas of Source Code Control, Software Builds, Defect Tracking, Change Control, and Release Distribution.  Good Quality Assurance methods and practices can help make the SRM process more effective, and can help add the structure needed to produce and distribute a quality product.  This presentation will examine the SRM process and detail, and discuss the intersection points of Quality Assurance and Release Management.
